This is to inform all qualified and interested Filipino students that the application for the UniFAST Scholarship 2025/2026 is now officially open. Administered by the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the program brings together several financial aid systems to provide free and subsidized education for college and TVET students.

If you are currently enrolled or about to enroll in a public or private higher institution or a TESDA-accredited school, you could be eligible for this scholarship.

What Is the UNIFAST Scholarship Program?

The UniFAST (Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education) was established through Republic Act No. 10687 and enhanced under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (RA 10931). UniFAST combines all government-funded scholarship, grant-in-aid, loan and subsidy programs into one national system, which include Free Higher Education (FHE), Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), Short-Term Student Loan Program, and TVET Student Assistance 

Benefits of the UniFAST Scholarship Program

Depending on your school and circumstances, UniFAST may cover:

Free Higher Education

  • Full tuition and miscellaneous fees for students in State and Local Universities and Colleges UniFAST

Tertiary Education Subsidy

  • ₱20,000 per year for public school students

  • ₱60,000 per year for private school students

  • Covers books, transportation, school supplies and other education-related expenses

  • Extra support for persons with disabilities

  • May include board exam or licensure review assistance UniFAST

TVET Financial Assistance

  • Training support for TESDA-registered students, including tuition, assessment fees and learning materials

Short-Term Student Loan

  • Emergency loans for financial need, exam prep or graduation costs UniFAST

Eligibility Criteria for UNIFAST Scholarship 2025–2026
