How to Check WAEC Result 2025-2026


This is to inform all candidates who sat for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) that the results are now officially out.

WAEC made the announcement today, confirming that candidates can now access their results through the official WAEC result checking portal or by SMS.

The released results cover candidates in Nigeria and other West African countries who sat for the May/June 2025/2026 exams.

How to Check WAEC Result 2025-2026 

Follow the steps below to check your WAEC result online:

  1. Visit the WAEC Result Portal:
    Go to the official WAEC result checking website here

  2. Enter your details:

    • WAEC Examination Number (10 digits). see image below:WAEC Examination Number (10 digits)

    • Examination Year (2025). See image belowwaec Examination Year (2025)

    • Type of Examination (School Candidate Result)waec Type of Examination (School Candidate Result)

    • Serial Number from your WAEC scratch card (if required)Serial Number from your WAEC scratch card

    • WAEC PIN from the card 

    • WAEC PIN from the card

  3. Click "Submit" 
    Your result will be displayed. You can print or screenshot it for reference.WAEC RESULT Click "Submit"

How to Check WAEC Result 2025/2026 via SMS

To check your WAEC 2025-2026 result by SMS, simply:

  • Send a message in this format:
    WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
    Example: WAEC*4250100123*123456789012*2025

  • Send it to 32327 (for MTN, Airtel, or Glo users)

Note: SMS charges will apply. Make sure your phone has enough airtime.

Statistics and Performance

WAEC has reported that the majority of candidates had a fair performance. A large number of students obtained credits and above in five subjects, including Mathematics and English, which is the minimum requirement for university admission.

WAEC also noted improvements in science and technical subjects compared to previous years.

What to Do If Your Result Is Withheld

Some candidates may find their results withheld or showing "Pending". This could be due to:

  • Examination malpractice

  • Biometric issues

  • Center-related problems
